Today,  13rd of  December 2015 a solemn meeting was taken place in our school, 2nd High School of Kalymnos and with scouts, our parents, our teachers, Mr. Magkoulias Pothitos, Officer of the Programs of Secondary Education in Kalymnos, we planted the slope at the school entrance and the slop behind the classrooms occupied by the Third Class of our Junior High School. The atmosphere was festive with Christmas songs, with hot dogs and sandwiches, a lot of work and a lot of joy to a small groves which we hope to grow and gives green wellness. Children adopted from a tree that will care and will watch with love.

Alongside we made a small bazaar with knitted creations that included fashionable scarves, mobile bags, hair clips made by the knittig group of 2nd Junior High School of  Kalymnos. The money we will help us buy wool and needles to continue to knit with love for the refugees who come to our island. Next week we will receive one box of  wool sending us with love by Mrs. Maria Stratigaki from thefacebook group of  KNITTING SOLIDARITY, and also by Mrs. Maria Cortessis Stratigaki, also a member of the same group. S he will send us one carton full of ready clothes knitted by the Elderly Group of TRIPOLIS, because, as she wrote us,  we are students and we do not have time to knit as much as we would like. This make possible for us to distribute a meeting with the refugees in Kalymnos, at December 20th, 2015 , With this action we are participating in the European program “ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN EDUCATION”, http://padlet.com/lohynova/h8sp2glekkuq, entitled: “Make a Difference day” . In an interview we gave to the journalist mr. Mammas Haramandas, we sent our best wishes for a final happy ending of refugees coming to our island and our mood to dress Jesus Christ according to our orthodox belief that He is at the face of every refuge.The current day covered by the local TV network “AEGEAN TV” and will be screened on Monday 12th, 2015 at 3 pm.
